1. Who we are
RepPro provides field-force automation software for FMCG, pharmaceutical, and field-service teams across the MENA region. Our platform helps organisations manage sales orders, merchandising audits, route optimisation, geo-verified check-ins, and related field activities.
Data controller: RepPro
Location: Amman, Jordan
Contact: Moh@reppro.pro · +962 79 990 5553
If you use RepPro through your employer or another organisation, that organisation may also act as a data controller for certain information processed in the app. Where that applies, please refer to your organisation's privacy notice as well.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- the RepPro marketing website at reppro.pro (or any successor domain);
- demo and contact requests submitted through the website; and
- the RepPro mobile application for iOS and Android, including background services used for location tracking and data synchronisation while reps are in the field.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide directly
Depending on how you interact with RepPro, we may collect:
- Website demo requests: full name, work email address, and industry sector.
- Account and profile data: name, work contact details, role, territory, employer, and credentials used to sign in to the mobile app or web dashboard.
- Field activity data: orders, payments, inventory updates, visit notes, checklists, merchandising scores, sampling records, and other business information entered during field work.
- Photos and media: images captured for shelf audits, planogram compliance, proof of service, and similar field documentation.
- Communications: messages you send to us for support, onboarding, or sales enquiries.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the RepPro mobile app, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Location data: precise and approximate GPS coordinates, including while the app runs in the background, to support route optimisation, live tracking, geo-verified check-ins, and visit verification.
- Device and app data: device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, unique device identifiers, IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Activity and movement data: motion or activity signals where enabled on your device, to help distinguish travel from stationary periods and improve route and visit accuracy.
- Photo metadata: location and time information associated with images where your device and permissions allow it.
- Battery and performance data: limited device battery and performance information to optimise background synchronisation and reduce unnecessary location polling.
- Usage data: features used, session duration, sync events, errors, and crash reports.
- Website technical data: browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, cookies, and similar analytics and advertising technologies (including Meta Pixel) when you browse our public website.
3.3 Information from your organisation
If your employer uses RepPro, we may receive information they provide to configure your account, such as assigned routes, customers, products, targets, and approval workflows.
5. Mobile app permissions
The RepPro Android app requests certain device permissions so field teams can work reliably, including in areas with limited connectivity. Permissions are requested at runtime where required by your operating system, and many can be changed in your device settings.
| Permission | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Internet access | Sync orders, visits, photos, and dashboard updates with RepPro cloud services; load maps and product data. |
| Location (precise, approximate, and background) | Optimise daily routes, verify visits at customer sites, show live rep positions to authorised managers, and attach location context to field activity. |
| Foreground service (location and data sync) | Continue location tracking and upload queued field data while you are actively working on a route, including when the app is not in the foreground. |
| Notifications | Send route reminders, sync status, task alerts, and important account messages. |
| Camera | Capture shelf audits, merchandising photos, and proof-of-service images during visits. |
| Media location | Read location metadata embedded in photos when needed for audit and compliance workflows. |
| Activity recognition | Improve accuracy of travel detection and reduce unnecessary background location updates. |
| Battery statistics | Adapt sync frequency and background behaviour to preserve device battery during long field days. |
Background location is used only where necessary for legitimate field-force operations configured by your organisation, such as live route tracking and geo-verified check-ins. You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but some core features may stop working.
6. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the RepPro platform and mobile apps;
- process sales orders, merchandising audits, visit logs, and other field workflows;
- optimise routes, verify visits, and give managers a live operational view of field activity;
- sync data between devices and the cloud, including offline capture with later reconciliation;
- authenticate users and enforce role-based access for reps, supervisors, and administrators;
- respond to demo requests, support enquiries, and service communications;
- measure and improve advertising performance across our website;
- monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability and security;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- send product, security, or operational notices where permitted by law or your organisation's agreement with us.
7. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable data-protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: to deliver RepPro services to you or your organisation.
- Legitimate interests: to secure our platform, improve products, prevent misuse, and support efficient field operations — balanced against your rights and expectations.
- Consent: for optional activities such as certain marketing communications, cookies, or permissions that your device OS treats as consent-based.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
If you are an employee or contractor using RepPro on behalf of an organisation, your organisation's contract with us and its policies may provide the primary basis for processing your work-related field data.
9. International data transfers
RepPro serves customers across the Arab world. Your information may be processed in Jordan and in other countries where we or our service providers operate — including cloud hosting providers such as Amazon S3 and DigitalOcean. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections and security measures consistent with applicable law. Continuing to use RepPro constitutes your consent to this processing.
10. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, meet contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type and by your organisation's subscription settings or regulatory needs. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it in accordance with our retention practices.
11. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and monitoring of our production environment. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and role, you may have rights to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion or restriction of certain processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing;
- receive a copy of certain information in a portable format; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
To exercise these rights, contact us at Moh@reppro.pro. If you use RepPro through your employer, some requests may need to be directed to your organisation because it controls certain account and field data.
You can also manage many app permissions directly in your device settings, including location, camera, and notifications.
13. Children's privacy
RepPro is a business service intended for authorised field teams and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it and take appropriate action.
14. Third-party links and services
Our website may link to third-party sites or app stores. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Mapping, analytics, advertising, and cloud infrastructure partners may process limited technical or location data as part of delivering integrated features.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes to app data practices, we may also provide additional notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
